About Appswant

The app stores hold millions of apps, and finding the right one takes time. Appswant cuts through the noise. We pick useful apps and games, explain what they do in plain words, and point you straight to the official place to get them.

We believe discovering software should be simple, safe and free of hype.

• App and game pages with features, pros and cons, screenshots and an editor's score.
• Official download buttons for Google Play, the App Store, Microsoft Store, the web and more — only when we have checked the link.
• Categories and top charts to help you browse by what you need.
• News and guides about the apps people use every day.
• Reader reviews from people who have used the apps.

Our editors look at what an app does, how easy it is to use, how it handles privacy, and how it compares with similar apps. Each review ends with an editor's score. This score is our own opinion — it is not a store rating and it is not based on download numbers.

We never invent ratings, download counts or user numbers. If we don't know something, we don't publish it.

Appswant does not host app files. Every download button takes you to the official store listing or the developer's own website, so you always get the genuine, up-to-date version.

If a link looks wrong, please tell us and we'll check it quickly.

We are not owned by any app developer or store. Developers can submit their apps, and businesses can advertise, but neither can buy a better score or a positive review. Advertising is always clearly labelled.
